I was looking at a photo I took at the Adelaide Museum of a very large nautilus shell fossil, and this evolved. At first a tongue in cheek look at our desperate moments, but also an acknowledgement of the plasticity of the mind and its ability to be an always changing, mending, adapting and growing organ.
