CAMBODIAN SOUL JOURNEY

This set investigates the journey toward resolution of the questions about life that afflict us. As we journey from an honest meeting with our self, a willingness to journey, a recognition of our longings, deal with our conflicts, make room for what we really want, and the final one asks of us “What am I connected to, where am I going, what is the ‘other’ that grips me, what seed have I planted in me that will result in a growing pregnancy and what will I give birth to in my life, and am I ok with that?”

I used photos I took of the historical pictorial walls at the Bayon Temple of Angkor Thom in Cambodia; to portray our personal life that is a combination of the inner and outer world, but one journey, one history.

I have a couple of the originals of these before deciding to make prints but included them so you can see the story line.
